Blavod was launched in India on Thursday October 25th 2001 at Athena, Mumbai (Bombay). Athena is one of the finest restaurants in the city and the theme of the evening was "Black - cool, stylish and sexy". On November 16th a Black Bull Nite was held at "Fire & Ice", one of Mumbai's most trendy night clubs.
